matthew is very polite and friendly,explained to me thoroughly what job needed to be done,for all i thought it may have been rising damp i was shocked to find out it was something different. Matthew is a font of knowledge in hes line of work, everyday matt and andy left the room spotless even hovering my stairs were the dust had got under the door, i am having matt back again in a few weeks to do another job,i would definitely recommend this dynamic duo to anyone

Matthew initially visited my house and provided me valuable information through a diagnosis of my household damp issues. This was followed up with a detailed written report and suggested treatment plan, along with honest and fair pricing. Matthew has been very friendly and reassuring to me throughout the whole process, making sure to answer any questions I had about the treatment being carried out. From start to finish both himself and colleagues arrived at first thing for a prompt start, maintained a clear work area and gave regular updates on progress made. I simply cannot complement Matthew enough for all works completed, my first house has has become a home again and I would certainly recommend Matthew to anyone in need of an honest, local and high quality property service. Matthew was hard working, knowledgeable and conscientious. He was punctual, polite and answered emails and texts quickly. His work was of the highest standard and the cost was excellent value for money. He earned every penny and he went above and beyond to match the new skirting and floorboards to our existing ones. Damp problem assessment.
Matthew arrived well before the agreed time.
He brought with him an array of hi-tech tools to pinpoint our problem.
He explained clearly what the issue was and the probable root cause.
He gave clear, cost effective remedial advice and also offered a follow up visit to check the problem was resolved.
A very knowledgeable and personable young man who I would highly recommend.

Matthew arrived at our house with an array of technical instrumentation but did not try to "bamboozle" us. After a through review he proceded to tell us what we had been led to believe (that we had riding damp) was incorrect, and the diagnosis was condensation. This fitted much better with our own conclusions and some of the evidence (lack of decay in the skirtings for example). We agreed we could do the preparatory work ourselves which gave us a first hand opportunity to confirm that he was right as when the old plaster was removed over 95% of the brickwork was dry.
Matthew and team then took over and worked diligently installing the condensation prevention membrane, plasterboard and skimming on top. They were clean and professional throughout, even working around our installation of new sockets and services for our new wall mounted TV.
We are really pleased with the quality of Matthew's work and plan to have him back in a few weeks to fit new skirtings throughout (even though not damp, they were a patchwork quilt of sizes so we are having new). Had we opted for a "rising damp" solution the original problem would have remained unfixed and we would have spent a lot more money to boot! We have no hesitation in recommending Matthew to anyone reading this review.

Excellent service. I have to say that the best part of the service, was the service not provided.
By that I mean that I requested an inspection in a property and then a report with the problems and an action plan.
I thought that the action plan would involve costly repairs. Mr Rigby had the honesty to explain that no repairs are needed at this stage and provided a very thorough report, using relevant instrumentation and reasoning.
Thus it was not only the service provided excellent, but he did not take advantage of the circumstances and did not advise unnecessary remedial work. Five stars

We had the whole ground floor damp proofed.
We wanted each room done separately to minimise daily disruption. Matt agreed to this and sent an itemized invoice for each room.
The work and the way it was carried out was first class. The house was left clean and tidy each day when they finished. Would definitely recommend

Part of the kitchen was dismantled in order to locate the exact location of the problem. The problem was located and the repairs were carried out professionally and efficiently.

Matthew professionally and effectively remedied some extensive rising damp issues for me several years ago.
I therefore had no hesitation in asking him to give me an honest assessment of whether I needed any work doing on a different part of the house.

Matthew came to assess a damp problem, issued a report and started the work promptly. He and Steve were always on time and worked solidly to get the job done - replastering of walls and ceiling and putting up coving (as well as insulating the walls) Matthew kept me informed of progress and developments and completed the work within the agreed time. A pleasure to have around, they tidied up along the way and protected other areas of the house. I am delighted with the standard of work and would happily recommend Matthew. I first contacted matt a few years ago when I noticed a large damp patch on my front wall. Matt was very professional when he came round to assess the issue and sent a report that same day with a quote. When matt completed the work he advised on further inspection a small part on the quote didn't need to be done so he charged me less. I was very happy with this as I wouldn't have noticed if this was or wasn't done. The quality of his work was to a very high standard so when I noticed a little damp in the porch a couple of months ago I quickly called Matt. Matt completed the work for me again and fitted a new skirting board and made the wall look nice and new. I hope I don't have any more damp issues but I would highly recommend Matt to others.

Matthew and his work colleague Steve were here from May 25th-May 29th. We had an extensive amount of rot in our kitchen after a leak. Their workmanship was of an extremely high standard and they communicated with us throughout the entire project consulting us about what work needed to be done. They were polite and friendly and the standard of their work was excellent. We would without any doubt recommend them and have already asked them to look at a small job that we also need doing. They have also put our old units back in the kitchen (that were relatively new) without a mark on them. An excellent job - thank you!

Matthew and his colleague did a fantastic job plastering several rooms in my house. They did dining room, kitchen, hall, landing and stairs. They were professional at all times, three of them came to do the work and they were a pleasure to have in my house; polite and courteous. The work was completed to a high standard, in good time, and the mess made was minimal. This is the second job Matthew has done for me and I will be contacting him for any future work. I would highly recommend him.

Matthew came to look at a potential damp problem at my home. He didn't charge to come out. He spent fifteen minutes looking at the property before concluding that there was not sufficient damp to warrant work being carried out and that the issue was minor. It was fantastic not the have someone trying to sell me something that I don't need. A real breathe of fresh air!
