Phone was answered immediately & Derek attended the same day to fix my front door which wouldn't lock. Work was done speedily & to my complete satisfaction. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a locksmith.

Once again Derek provided an exceptional service.
I'd had my front door changed and wanted to upgrade the locks.
Derek's communication and responsiveness whilst I researched the options was first class.
After the locks were purchased he came the next day to fit them.
As always he was bang on time, masked and gloved, friendly as ever, he did the job and gave me advice on how to maintain the locking system.
We've used Derek for over five years now, whenever we need lock work doing, and would recommend him as an honest, professional and value for money trader.

Derek arrived slightly earlier than the arranged time, was very pleasant and efficient, the lock actually works better than the original one did when new.I have already recommended Derek and would call him again if I ever needed to.

This review covers two visits by Derek, once late last year to fit new locks, and another today to fit a new door handle, check the door over and sort a window locking mechanism issue out. This is the fourth time we've used Derek and he always does a great job, he always does what you actually need doing rather than trying to upsell you, and he always does so at a fair price. He turns up on time, is friendly, respectful and is currently taking extra steps to do his job in the most hygienic way. I'd recommend Derek - he's fair, trustworthy, decent, professional.

Due to the age of the house we were unable to add a standard lock. In a panic Derek took it upon himself to assist with ensuring the property was secure and spoke to the insurers to make sure we had witnesses to them accepting the work just couldn't be done. Not sure what we would have done without his help, would definitely suggest to friends and family, such a friendly company with your best interests at heart.

The service that we got was excellent!
Back door lock had broken and could not get in or out into back garden. Derek came reviewed and fixed lock.

From making the call, which was answered promptly Derek came out and arrived within 20 minutes. Lock was replaced within another 20 minutes and as my Dad has mobility issues, he was finally able to get in and out through the front door again! Absolutely superb and friendly service and all completed for a very reasonable price! Thank you and highly recommended.

Once again Derek delivered an exceptional service. He visited us to assess the door concerned and recommended cost effective solutions to the issues. He doesn't try and generate work that doesn't need doing like some traders, he is honest and tells you exactly what needs to be done and what doesn't. He also walked around our property with us to give us a free security audit and discuss where other improvements could be made. Derek is honest, he always turns up on time (or early), he offers excellent value for money and is a very pleasant and friendly chap. We would always use him for our security needs and recommend him to anyone who asked us. He is very professional and is an expert in his field.

I left a message last night requesting a call back today about the faulty locks on my mumâs door. I was so impressed to receive a phone call first thing this morning, and when I explained the problem, Derek said he could be out by 11am.
Derek and his colleague turned up as promised and were so helpful. They fully explained the options to my mum, then got straight to work and fixed the problem.
My mum stated they were really friendly, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend Derek to anyone, and want to thank him for helping my mum so quickly.

Extremely satisfied with the attitude, service, craftmanship and quality lock that Derek supplied. He fitted a new 5 lever lock to a 30 year old exterior door. Thanks to his skill It now securely locks like a new door. The lock he supplied was far superior than the one he quoted for. Also very good price for the service he provided. Would highly recommend.

Extremely satisfied with Derek and the work that he did. We'd been having problems with our front door locking system and were given Derek's details by St Helens Council. He arrived on time to assess the door and told us exactly what the issue was and how much it would cost to fix it. We then made an appointment with Derek to come back and complete the necessary work. Once again Derek arrived right on time and completed the work to a very high standard and at the lower end of the price range he had given us. Derek is very highly skilled in his field, but also very professional, punctual, friendly and honest/fair. It is so refreshing when you find traders like Derek and we would recommend him to anyone looking for the services he offers.

I rang on Friday and got an appointment for Monday (wasn't an emergency and that day suited me).
Derek seems a very nice and plesent man. Told me what lock he was putting on and why and gave me the spare keys.
The value for money is amazing. Another quote I got was over ã40.00 more expensive.
Can't rave enough for this independent trader.

What a truly magnificent company Lockeys Locksmith Services is. I lost my key for conservatory door, Derek came within the hour and replaced the lock.

Derek was very sympathetic in dealing with my older aged mother, and a faulty lock, when constant access is required by her carers. Explained the problem clearly and came up with a pragmatic and inexpensive solution, rather than charging for a replacement that wasn't needed.
