If you have a general complaint to make to Trading Standards about a company that is not a Trader Register member, please contact Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline on 0808 223 1133 or you can to make your complaint online Online.
If you have a complaint about a Trader Register member, you should initially contact the trader and seek to resolve the issue with them. If you are unable to resolve the dispute with the trader, you should contact the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline to obtain advice and information about your legal rights. The helpline will provide you with practical advice on how to progress your complaint with the trader. Trading Standards will be made aware of your complaint by Citizens Advice and we may contact you to discuss the issue.
