Trading Standards Practitioner

We are looking to recruit a part time Trading Standards Practitioner to join our team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and extensive experience of working in a trading standards environment. You will hold a Law degree and a recognised trading standards qualification. A relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable as is a formal qualification in education and/or training.

You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of business advice, compliance and support, consumer advice and mediation as a minimum whilst experience of training in consumer law is also desirable.

Hours are both negotiable and flexible and a competitive package is available for the right person. The location is flexible, however applicants will be prepared to travel.

Trading Standards Business Auditor

We are looking to recruit a part time Trading Standards Business Auditor to join our team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and extensive experience of working in a trading standards environment, in particular on Local Trader Schemes. A relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable as is a formal qualification in education and/or training.

You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of vetting, business advice, compliance and support, consumer advice and mediation.
