To apply for membership of the Trader Register you need to complete the online application form.
In order to consider your application, please provide us with the requested information about you and your business. You must provide the information in the fields marked *.
Please select the appropriate trade categories for your business. This information will be used to classify traders and allow consumers to search for registered traders both by trade and geographical area. You can enter multiple trades by clicking the “add a trade” button each time you have selected one.
On receipt of your application an officer will contact you to request proof of insurance, a list of references and your signature to the Code of Conduct. The officer will be available to answer any questions you may have about the application process and membership.
We will process your application as soon as possible and aim to complete the process within 30 days of your application.
If we are unable to accept you as a member we will offer support to assist your business in meeting the membership criteria.
Please note that by completing the form you are applying for membership but are NOT a member at this stage and no reference to applying for or being a member should be made until your membership is confirmed. Use of the Trader Register logo by traders who are not current members is a criminal offence and will be investigated by Trading Standards.
